Kids Art Camp

This camp takes place in the fenced backyard at North Tahoe Art Center. Shade sails and tents are provided. Each day we begin with a morning circle to connect with one another and to review the day’s projects. Campers are placed in small groups based on age, and will rotate through a variety of art projects each day.

During camp we’ll explore all kinds of art making, including ceramics, drawing and painting, sculpture, collage, and more! A daily snack break will be taken each day. Please pack a heavy snack for your child to sustain them through lunchtime. Camp is mostly shaded but some sun exposure is possible, so be sure to apply sunscreen before each day. Please have campers wear closed-toed shoes.

Session 1 – June 22-26

Time: 9-1  

Cost:  $400 non – member, $350 – member

This day camp is designed to expose campers to a variety of styles of art and different mediums. We lead hands-on fun in a supportive environment where campers get creative alongside their peers, led by our experienced, kind, and warm staff of art teachers. ​​​​

Session 2 – June 29 – July 3

Time: 9am – 1pm

Cost:  $400 non – member, $350 – member

This day camp is designed to expose campers to a variety of styles of art and different mediums. We lead hands-on fun in a supportive environment where campers get creative alongside their peers, led by our experienced, kind, and warm staff of art teachers. ​​​​

Session 3 – July 6-10

Time: 9am – 3pm

Cost:  $600 non – member, $550 – member

This day camp is designed to expose campers to a variety of styles of art and different mediums. We lead hands-on fun in a supportive environment where campers get creative alongside their peers, led by our experienced, kind, and warm staff of art teachers. After lunch campers will participate in our performing arts program. We will be singing, writing, directing and acting in plays. ​​​​

Session 4 – July 13-17

Time: 9am – 3pm

Cost:  $600 non – member, $550 – member

This day camp is designed to expose campers to a variety of styles of art and different mediums.
