The natural beauty of the California landscape is the basis for many of Kirsten's paintings.  Her canvases usually start with an idea from one of her photographs and after several layers of paint, may evolve into something entirely different.

Having grown up near the California seashore and Lake Tahoe, water scenes and landscapes have always inspired her art.  After graduating with a B.S. in Business and a Minor in Art from St. Mary's College, Kirsten continued to take art classes.  She began entering shows and selling her art in the 1990's.
 

Kirsten has exhibited in different venues in Marin County and New York City.  She has taught art classes and sold pieces locally and across the country.  She hopes that you will enjoy her art as much as she enjoys creating it!
