Geoff McGilvray is an award winning landscape & nature photographer based out of Incline Village, NV. He has lived in the Lake Tahoe Basin since 1975 and has a passion  for capturing the different moods and the beautiful, ever changing lighting, of the Lake Tahoe basin and the surrounding high Sierra. Geoff’s deep love for the natural environment our planet has also taken him to many parts of the world to experience and photograph its beauty, but Lake Tahoe will always be “home” for Geoff.

When asked about what he wants to accomplish with his photography, Geoff says, “If my photography can touch someone’s heart, or create a deep soulful connection and respect for the natural beauty that surrounds us and the Great Spirit that created it, then my work has been successful in conveying the feelings I experience when I am out capturing the magnificence of the Earth through my lens.”
